Boys and Girls,
Today you get a new challenge for PE class. Each day this week, try to get 10,000 steps every day. If you have a watch that tracks your steps, you can use that. If you have a phone, see if your parents will let you download an app that tracks your steps. Use your PE distance learning sheet for some ideas for activities to help get those steps. Challenge the other members of your family to see who can get the most steps each day. Remember, healthy bodies are strong bodies!
Watch for my daily step counts. I can't wait to see what you can do! Just comment at the bottom of the blog. Be sure to put your first name and last initial beside your number of steps. I need to know who beat me at the end of the day.
I miss all of you!

Distance Learning Photos
Boys and Girls,
This week I went on a nature walk with some of my family. I would like to hear some of the activities you have done with your families. Be sure to include pictures of your physical activities. Keep moving and being safe and enjoy some pictures from our nature walk.
Hoping to see you soon,
Mrs. Hayhurst
Jake looking at the Beaver Dam. They are really good builders. If you want the water stopped, that is.
The secret waterfall. Isn't it pretty?
We found another small waterfall tucked in some really big rocks. Can you see it?
My family is looking at what is left of an owl's meal. Fur and bones are about all they saw.
Jake's hand compared to a turkey track. They are close to the same size!
Jake's foot compared to a deer track. His foot is much bigger, don't you think?
